Cisco
Coregonus artedi
Also called lake herring or tullibee, cisco are a native pelagic whitefish found in the Great Lakes and select deep, cold inland lakes across the northern United States and Canada. They serve as critical forage for lake trout and other predators, and are a fun and rewarding ice fishing target.
