Yellow Bullhead
Ameiurus natalis
Similar to brown bullhead but distinguished by its light chin barbels, the yellow bullhead is common in warm lakes and ponds across the eastern and central United States. Extremely tolerant of warm, oxygen-poor water, they thrive in habitats where other species struggle.
