- Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Access- Located at S.R. 8 underneath the Portage Trail bridge. NOTE- This the last takeout point before a series of dangerous waterfalls. Downstream, the Gorge Dam is a no paddle zone. Access river right.canoe launch

- Franklin Mills Riveredge Park Access- Located on River St. just below W. Main St. bridge and dam in Kent. This section of the river until John Brown Tannery Park is recommended for experienced paddlers. Access river right.canoe launch
- Heritage Park Access-Located above W. Main St. bridge in Kent. This section of the river until John Brown Tannery Park is recommended for experienced paddlers. There is a parking lot below the bridge at Franklin Mills Riveredge Park. Access river right.canoe launch
- James Brown Tannery Park Access- Located off of Stow St. just below the bridge. Approximately 250 foot carry from parking to river's edge. Access river right.canoe launch
- Kinsman Rd. Access- Located at S.R. 87/Kinsman Rd. bridge southeast of Burton in the LaDue Public Hunting Area. Access river right.canoe launch
- Kramer Field Access- Located off of Stow St. in Kent. This put-in allows access to a river section that is suitable for beginners. Access river right.canoe launch
- Lock 29 Trailhead Access- Located below Peninsula dam near S.R. 303 bridge off of Mill St. Put-in below waterfall. Access river right.canoe launch
- Lock 39 Trailhead Access- Located off Rockside Rd. in Valley View and Cuyahoga Valley NP. 12 mile Class I downstream paddle to Merwin’s Wharf. Paddlers will enters the shipping channel for the last four miles. Proceed with caution.canoe launch
- Merwin's Wharf Access- Located off Merwin Ave. in downtown Cleveland. Follow the extra safety rules for rowing and paddling around freighters and other large boats in this shipping channel. Access river right.canoe launch
- Middlebury Road Access- Located on Middlebury Rd. in Kent. This primitive site with a gravel parking lot north of bridge allows access to a section that is suitable for beginners. Access river right.canoe launch
- Oxbow Area Access- Located in Akron. Starts 14.3 mile stretch with no access points until the Lock 29 access. There is a hazardous mill race and low waterfall in Peninsula above the Lock 29 access site. 500 foot carry to put-in. Access river right.canoe launch
- Red Fox River (Portage Park District) Access- Located on Price Rd. in Ravenna at the S.R. 303 bridge. Access river left. Last takeout before restricted area.canoe launch
- Red Lock Trailhead Access- Located off Vaughn Rd. and Highland Rd. in Sagamore Hills. Dropoff in the gravel access drive at the SE corner of the Vaughn Rd. bridge. 250 foot carry to river. Access river right.canoe launch

- Silver Lake Access- Located on Kent Rd. in the village of Silver Lake. This small community park allows access to a river section that is suitable for beginners. Access river right.canoe launch
- Station Road Bridge Trailhead Access- Located south of S.R. 82 bridge off Riverview Rd. in Brecksville and Cuyahoga Valley NP. Dropoff/pickup 500 feet from water’s edge. Look for mowed path. Access river left.canoe launch
- Tony Sainato Memorial Canoe Launch- Located across from Akron's Drinking Water Plant. Parking with access to river. Access river right.canoe launch
- Water Works Park Access- Located off Munroe Falls Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls. This city park allows access to a river section with a permanent hazard that requires some skill to avoid. Access river left.canoe launch
