- Harry Witty Memorial Park Access- Located in Elmore just upstream of S.R. 51 bridge. Access is located on the NW side of the public parking lot. Access river rightcanoe launch
- Lovers Portage River Fishing Access- Located on S.R. 105 northeast of Pemberville. Access river leftcanoe launch
- Marinewood Unit Access- This U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service facility has river access south of the parking area and drop-off zone. 800 ft. carry to river from drop off zone. Access river left.canoe launch
- Oak Harbor Interurban Overlook Access- River access is to the west of the shared parking lot at the end of Church St. The carry from the parking area to the river is a paved, ADA compliant walkway. 100 foot carry to river. Access river left.canoe launch
- Ottawa County Fairgrounds Access- Located in SE corner of fairgrounds, adjacent to the racetrack. Limited parking is available next to the river launch. Both the parking lot and slope to the river are gravel. Access river left.canoe launch
- Portage River State Wildlife Area Access- Located off S.R. 163/W. Lakeshore Dr. between Lacarne and Port Clinton. River access is in the SE corner of parking lot. Vehicles can pull up to the access to launch. Access river left.canoe launch
- Riverbend Park Access- Located on Merle Harder Blvd. in Elmore behind sewer plant. No paddling access upstream due to construction at S.R. 51 bridge/causeway. Access river right.canoe launch
- S.R. 590 Bridge Access- Located west of Oak Harbor. Roadside pull off to access the river. Access river left.canoe launch
- Salem Township Union Cemetery Access- Located off S.R. 105 in southwest Oak Harbor. Access river left.canoe launch
- Trail Marker Park Access- Located off S. Cherry St. in Woodville. River access is west of Cherry St. bridge. On-road parking is 350 feet NE from launch area. Access river left.canoe launch
- Waterworks Park at mouth of river on S.R. 163/E. Perry St. in Port Clinton, fee parking in Municipal Parking Lot on Jefferson Street, access river rightcanoe launch
- William Henry Harrison Park Access- River accesses are at the NW and SW corners of the parking area. Located just south of Pemberville. Access river right.canoe launch
